Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating business and sales prospects for our organization. This role involves various activities, including making outbound calls, identifying and engaging prospective clients, pre-qualifying leads, and establishing strategic partnerships within the industry. You will be an essential part of our sales efforts, helping us expand our reach and achieve our monthly targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day to potential leads.

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through various channels, such as social media, online forums, and industry events.

  • Utilize persuasive techniques to pre-qualify leads and set up sales appointments.

  • Promptly respond to incoming inquiries from potential clients interested in our products or services.

  • Seek out and establish strategic relationships within the industry to expand the company's reach.

  • Accurately log all sales activities/conversations and client information in the company's CRM software.

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine sales strategies and achieve monthly targets.

  • Maintain contact with potential clients to ensure ongoing engagement and facilitate the transition to the sales team when appropriate.

  • Maintain shared sheets as instructed by the sales manager with accurate information.

  • Utilize Google Calendar and Dialpad Video meeting invites to schedule client meetings or inquiries.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company's policies.

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

  • Use strong interpersonal skills to contact and engage clients via phone, email, live chat, fax, and personal contact in a professional manner.

  • Be an ambassador of the company, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to our clients while adhering to company culture, values, and policies.


  • High School Diploma and 4 years of B2B sales experience.

  • Cold Calling Experience.

  • CRM Software experience, HubSpot a plus.

  • AV/CCTV Experience a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.

  • Listening Skills: Must be able to understand customer needs and objections.

  • Persuasion: Must be good at convincing potential clients to take the next step.

  • Resilience and Grit: The ability to bounce back from rejection is crucial in a role that requires a lot of cold calling.

  • Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality.

  • Ability to organize and plan work independently.

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: The Inside Sales Representative may spend the majority of their workday sitting at a desk or workstation while making calls, conducting research, and using a computer.

  • Phone Usage: Constant use of a telephone or headset to engage in conversations with clients and prospects.

  • Computer Use: Frequent use of a computer, including typing, data entry, and navigating CRM software or sales tools.

  • Manual Dexterity: The ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and other computer peripherals with precision and efficiency.

  • Speaking: Clear and articulate communication is crucial, as the role involves talking to clients and prospects on the phone.

  • Listening: Active listening skills are essential for understanding customer needs and objections during sales calls.
