Hero Security and Surveillance of Bear Valley Springs, Calif., installed more than 50 security cameras to protect wind turbines in an area where towers test the wind energy potential of a valley west of Mojave that was once a popular spot for motorbiking and off-roading.
"In a typical wind farm install, Hero will put up one security tower for every turbine, he says. It takes about four to six weeks to build and design the towers. Because surveillance and solar technology is becoming more cost-effective, more companies are installing panels or incorporating some form of alternative energy solutions".
"Hero enlisted an IC Realtime DVR and PSS software platform which, when combined, allow users to easily look at individual towers on a map in real time."
